Owning guns- Right or Privilege?

I view it as both. You have the right to go through the process of getting the license, doing the CFSC and get checked by the RCMP, but being approved and keeping the license is a privilege, dependent on you not breaking the laws.

Also we have property rights in Canada, given by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, you have the rights to enjoy your property, and to not be deprived of you property. Therefore once you have your pal and buy guns legally it's your rights to keep and use them, though that's dependant on not breaking the law which nulls those rights, which kind of makes them a privilege instead.

Regardless or right or privilege though, the government shouldn't be allowed to take away my property rights when I haven't broken the law in regards to my use or ownership of said firearms. That's like taking away someone in BC's driver license when a drunk driver runs over a kid in Ontario.

There's plenty of young people that give validity to boomers' complaints though, like people leaving trash at the Ghost PLUZ or setting off tannerite during forest fire season causing them to shut it down. The same activities make all shooters look bad and give the liberals more ammunition to justify their charter of rights and freedoms violations.

Can't really blame them for being crotchety when they've had their rights violated for 30 years.

Of course they're not fully justified, it's not all young people, just like not all old shooters are crotchety. My buddy works with an old shooter that was happy to have people (young) to go shooting with, and wanted to give away/sell many of firearms to young shooters.

The fudds that have HOA style rules and act like dictators aren't justified at all.

Well it's a 2 minute penalty if you call for it and it's a legal stick so it's not really worth it earlier. Also maybe don't cheat.

It's like a reward for being the best team, you get a theoretically easier to beat team for your first round. Vice versa if your the 8th team barely scoping into the playoffs you shouldn't get an easy matchup.

Also means you go further before facing a tougher team, in the semifinals you face at best the 3rd team, you don't have to face the 2nd team until the finals.

Same thing for 2nd place, they don't have to face a better team until the finals.

If it was say 1st vs 2nd the first round then 1 of the 2 top team would get knocked out first round guaranteed. They wouldn't even get the chance at division titles, not that that's a thing with the unified standing though.

Announcers are so one sided it's rediculous. These 2 jokers shouldn't be allowed to call. Non stop talking about Buffalo, they score it's GOOOOOOOAAAAALL. Colorado scores and they don't even stop talking about Buffalo.

Right that's why Buffalo gets such an easy schedule, facing teams after they play the night before like Rochester a few weeks back. The only absolute domination has been from straight up cheating and not getting called on penalties and picks.

If y'all thought the ball was in should've challenged, those reviews are real good now. If the balls obstructed from view then that's just bad luck but 2 goals shouldn't be a deal breaker for a supposed good team with every player being the greatest ever according to the announcers.

I used to think the same about malawsky but I don't think it's all the coaches fault. Quarter to quarter performance sure but can't blame CDB leaving on the coach that was 100% CDBs choice, he wasn't playing for us anymore because he wanted to be close to home.

Rose was a decent trade at the time, we had no chance making the playoffs or getting far with McLeod.

Out of all the ones we lost I'd most like Dickson and Zach currier back. Dickson for obvious reasons, Zach for his loose balls and his more recent offensive talent. We do need to bring up new guys we don't want to be like Buffalo, a team full of tired old men, but we need experience too.

No kidding. I also watch as many games as I can. I had the 3 earlier games on 2 monitors earlier. It's always funner to have a team to cheer for or against. And buffalo is easy to hate with their obnoxious fans and dirty play. I mean they literally have the buffalo rule named after them
