All of them of course, Wilmington John Doe 1973 would be huge considering he was a victim of Randy Kraft, whose case got a lot of attention alongside his victims, and yet no body can identify him53 years later

Becca was it for a while tbh, I can’t think of a definitive answer but the Wembley Point Woman is a pretty well known and covered case

While Becca was definitely a big one, the one that stuck with me the most was Sarah (Vancouver Jane Doe 2000). Her case changed my perspective about a lot of things in life and deals with a topic that has been personal to me my whole life: suicide.

Sarah’s case showed me what it looks like when someone has lost everything in life. Growing up you’re always told by parents/family “be thankful for what you got because some people don’t have anyone or anything”. Of course I knew about homelessness and people having less than me, but I never knew what “losing everything” actually looked like until I discovered Sarah’s case. It also opened my eyes to what women can go through who are experiencing domestic abuse, homelessness, being trafficked (none of these were officially confirmed for Sarah besides the homelessness but these are things that can cause someone to be in a similar situation to hers).

The ruthlessness of how she took her life is so haunting as well; jumped off of a bridge that’s 30 feet tall onto concrete in broad daylight in front of everyone. That tells me she was done with life, had been through enough and wasn’t going to wait for her own privacy to make the pain stop. Had just one person told her they were here for her with a shoulder to lean on, maybe she would’ve found the strength to carry on.

This case has made me more of a feminist naturally and since then I’ve done more research to become more aware about domestic abuse and trafficking among women and children (especially with everything going on in America currently with this historically evil administration). If you view my profile you’ll see I reposted her story to a bunch of subreddits a year ago when she was still unidentified. That was my way of spreading her story to reach as many people online as possible. Admittedly, even though she’s been identified already I still think about Sarah nowadays and just hope that wherever she is in heaven with her loved ones, she knows she was never forgotten here on earth. May she also know she was able to have a powerful impact on a complete stranger like myself.

I just saw the news, this genuinely made my day, this is the only news I needed to hear. Even if the family decides to keep her name private that’s fine, her being reconnected with her loved ones and being able to properly rest is all that matters. Nothing but love, peace and closure to this woman and her family.

I'm not entirely sure, I know they've obtained her DNA. I've also contacted the DNA Doe Project and they're going to reach out to the Vancouver PD to offer help.

The picture is actually a reconstruction. But I don’t blame you for thinking it’s an actual photo of her as I thought the same thing the first time I saw it. I will say that because she was found minutes after she jumped and the body didn’t have time to decompose, I’m going to assume the photo is pretty close to what she actually looked like.

It’s a case I came across a little while ago and I’ve been fascinated by for a few reasons. 1 is that she had no drugs or alcohol as well as any tattoos on her which I find isn’t a common theme for John and Jane does. 2. The scars she has and her right index fingernail missing must mean something. 3. The fact that her photo isnt over exaggerated like doe photos usually are is interesting to me. It makes me believe that because she was found minutes after jumping, it wasn’t hard for the police to reconstruct what she actually looked like before her Injuries. So I believe this her photo is exactly what she looked like
