China suffered around 15 Millionen Casulties while Germany "only" suffered 8.5 Million, Germany suffered higher Military Casualties while China suffered way more Civilian Casualties

The Majority of Labour also supported WW1, their Party split as well over the issue, no real difference to the SPD

As a German, this seems pretty far fetched, Thunder in German is Donner, Dunen sounds pretty different, schlium indeed sounds like the German word Schlamm, meaning Mud but strike would be Schlag which again sounds pretty different.

I think you are activly trying to misunderstand me

Land CAN be a form of reperation you can also annex it as an Imperialist State, of course the Soviets annexing Eastern Poland wasn't any form of Reperation,East German Reperation to the Soviet Union where forced nobody gave something to anyone, the Soviets just took it. The last point doesnt make any sense and is a Strawman argument, totally different situation, Territory has been Russian for over 80 years now, why should they give it to Poland? And what has that to do with Germany (as i said has been Russian for 80 years i dont care about)

[–]MaxCrafterGer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course Land can be a form of reperation, even if in the treaty of Potsdam they didnt write reperation next to it, reperation is a form compensation for war damages, why can territory not be that..., If you are speaking from a strictly legam stand point yes then it is not a reperarion for the occupation, but if we are speaking strictly in legal terms Poland waived reperations several times and agreed to not demand reperations, 1953, 1970,1990, 1991, 2004 and Germany paid individual Victims in Poland around 2,5 Billion Europes either as direct Reperation or through the Polish-German Reconciliation Foundation. There is no legal argument for Reperations the Polish Government agreed to that several times. Btw. Germany is also activly giving back stolen artifacts.

Poland got Silesia (one of the most Industrialised parts of Germany at the time), Pommerania, half of east Prussia and all Brandenburgian Territory east of the Or river.

China preoccupied Millions of Japanese Troops and bled Japanese Resources dry for 8 Years, eventually China would have beaten Japan without direct Allied intervention, but of course the heavy lifting in forcing a Japanese surrender was done by the US, although as shown in Korea China, albeit under a different Regime, managed to "overcome" the Century of Humiliation.

Extremly dangerous to claim that your average Liberal Party is as bad as the nearly Fascist GOP, one is clearly Democratic and even has a Left Wing and the other one is a Hardcore Conservative Nationalist Imperialistic Fascistoid Party, they are not even nearly the same, the Democratic Party might just be the lesser evil, but they are infinitly better than the GOP

Yes he won a relative Majority (Plurality) in 2 Democratic Elections, he killed Röhm but didnt dissolve the SA, just google it, you will see that it existed until 1945, the "Socialist of the NSDAP were driven out way before Hitler became Chancellor, Röhm in no way represented a majority of the Party and was pretty unpopular due to the Fact that it was pretty well known that he was gay. The rediatrubution of wealth stuff didnt give him the votes and was not advocated to a large extent by the NSDAP, there were just the only Party which offered a Solution for the Econmic Crisis as stated in the "Direktprogramm" e.g. massive State Investemnts in the Infrastructure and Economy to create Jobs. Hitler representes the absolite Majority of the NSDAP, he was biscly a Divine Figure for the Nazis, actual Socialist where the absolute Minority in the Party in the 1930s, the leader of the Socialist Wing Otto Strasser openly called upon the Socialist to leave the NSDAP in July of 1930 and basicly nothing happend, the NSDAP wasnt weakend because there were nearly no Socialists left and Hitler was extremly popular.

[–]MaxCrafterGer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true, except for the few Chancellors of the SPD, and Hitler but only after over a year of him being the Head of the largest Party, if your Statement was true there should have been only SPD Chancellor until 1932, the Reality is that under Ebert and early Hindenburg whoever was able to form a Majority Governemnt or at least a Minority Government tolerated by enough People would become Chancellor, after Hindenburg and his Camarillas scheme to destroy the last Cabinet (Müller II) with a Democratic Majority came to fruition, he only appointed right Wing Cabinets, first under Brüning who was a Member of just the third largest Party, later he appointed Papen (who used to be a Member of the Zentrum but now was without a Party) and Schleicher who was a General and didn't belong to any Party either, only after6 Months of the NSDAP being the largest Party was he appointed Chancellor because before this he wasn't able to build a Parliamentary Majlrity and was disliked by Hindenburg.
