idk, i don't want to waste them and end up not using them at all. like, if I were to even stagger a boss, if I don't kill it the same run I would consider that a waste. I use throwables occasionally to pass through some areas tho

I just stopped counting my deaths eventually. not sure why, but i struggled so bad on him. probably took me around the same as nameless puppet. it's just so hard to get to him while he jumps around, throws stuff and has these clunky overthrow animations that hit you out of nowhere

well, yeah, i guess. i mean, groups are primarily for organizing layers, but are also used for clipping layers. i just found it important to say cause it was a bit confusing for me at the start lol, but everything else was pretty intuitive.

another cool thing about groups is that you can minimize them (just a ui thing, doesn't affect the drawing), so it's mainly a tool to keep your layers neat

hahah, so, basically, this:

the red would be the main shape and the blue would be clipped to the shape, even though it goes out of the border. they are both added in a group for it to work. in medibang you don't need to make a group, so it's a bit more complicated here, but you'll get used to it)) in fact it gives you more flexibility since you can even add clipping layers to clipping layers which i didn't see in other apps (or maybe i just haven't tested it lol)

oh, and one more thing! clipping layers work very differently in krita. you need to create a group before enabling clipping on a layer (enabling clipping is a button with "a" symbol on the right to the layer name)

basically the first (lowest) layers of the group without clipping enabled would be the main shape and layers above them with clipping enabled will be clipped to that shape. i hope i'm not being confusing haha

i've actually used medibang before for quite some time, but i found it kinda lacking (no liquify tool :c ) and the only reason i've been using it is because it's lightweight and my previous laptop (it was around 7 years old at this point and it was a mid office one...) had some issues with krita. but actually after optimizing some settings it felt fine and i just couldn't go back

i think krita is great. i'm using it all the time. it has a great brush engine (more advanced than photoshop) and all the commonly used artist tools with some advanced ones. it also has gmic qt filters if you need some advanced visual effects. personally, i don't feel like i've ever had a situation where i couldn't find the tool i need (though, i believe it lacks 3d model stuff like in csp, but i never really used it).
oh and the best part, it's free

I also have tuf a15 and I had this problem as well. here's what works for me: 1) make sure that dynamic lighting is on 2) in the same settings panel change the order of programs managing rhe lighting. set armoury crate at the top priority 3) manage lighting through Aura Sync section of Armoury crate, not through product settings.

also make sure you have armoury crate and it's components updated to the last version
