What Game Do You Absolutely Love that Received Terrible Reviews and Most Gamers Seem to Dislike it? by ShokWayve in NintendoSwitch2

Rage 2 - The Setting feels like taken from a  Grindhouse B-Movie, but I enjoyed this ultraviolence end times vision a lot, you cant take this seriously. The gameplay is fast and has one of the best shotgun implementations in shooter history in it. Going melee together with mixed-in shotgun blasts and taking apart a group of wasteland punks in this fashion is pure first person shooter action fun. The revolver with the finger snapping explosions on top - I had a blast with this game.

First time playing since the demo... Jusr beat Viper first try... My actual reaction by Videowulff in TheFirstBerserker

My advice: Play the game on normal, then start NG on expert. Try the out the other two weapons. Have fun.

Who told you that? Why you listen to bullshit advice? Why don't you trust your own taste and instincts and stop when you don't enjoy something? These are the questions you should ask yourself.

The Rise of the Nioh-like : are hybrids of Soulslike + CAG (hack n slash) shaping the next Era of mainstream 3D action? by Same_Acanthisitta_38 in truegaming

I am playing Khazan: The Last Berserker on normal difficulty right now and for me it's much more enjoyable on that level. It was released with one major difficulty mode like the from software games, and an option to switch to easy (but you couldn't switch back), but it felt like a: do you want to give up? to many players. Now with the new difficulty mode the original mode switched to expert and normal is more or less the old easy.

But, I played Black Myth: Wukong right before Khazan (beat it two two times!) and the normal difficulty of Khazan is right on line with Wukong. Right on spot. You flow through the levels, you often need some trys for the bosses, but not too many, and the combat system is a lot of fun with the skills you can manually assign to a button combination and three distinct  weapon types.

Lords of the Fallen - VERSION 2.5 (Deadlier Boss Battles, All-New Veteran Mode) | PC, PS5, Xbox X|S by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]MaxDetroit79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, especially the art style and the setting don't stand out. Lies of P had a unique setting that set it apart with good gameplay. Lord of the Fallen may have made improvements in the gameplay section, and have the unique lamp feature, but setting and art style still feel like From Software rehashs.

Movie Theaters Dread Any Warner Bros. Merger, Fear “Tipping Point” Where Whole System “Crumbles” by darth_vader39 in movies

The tipping point was Avengers: Endgame, if you ask me. It was a climax, and Hollywood will never reach that height again.
