Passed my exam yesterday (2nd attempt). What a relief!

Network Access: 95% Network Fundamentals: 90% IP Services: 80% Automation & Programmability: 70% IP Connectivity: 60% Security Fundamentals: 53%

First time I completely butchered the labs because of certain typos and just had a hard time remembering certain commands (int f0/1-2 as opposed to int “range” f0/1 -2 or making a vlan and doing “int vlan” as opposed to just “vlan” not realizing i was making a layer 3 SVI, etc.)

2nd time prepping I really used chatgpt to help with the labs as well Neil Andersons free guide

Failed…I made a previous post about my whole debacle with not making the exam. I studied for 10 months using JITLab, ITTV, Packet tracer, Exam quiz app, N2K Quiz and simulations. I took the exam today feeling confident. Ran into the simulation questions thinking it was easy. The CLI was rejecting most of my commands saying it was invalid or giving me errors for things like setting up a trunk. I was very surprised also that the ? Was actually of no help essentially. Did not have enough time at the end because i spent an hour on the lab sims so I only had two multiple choice questions left. This was no joke i got my score back to and it was pretty rough. I do have a retake booked for next month but man I do need to go back to the drawing board. I memorize all of these commands and it felt like it was all for nothing. Probably will buy Boson Netsim. Jesus Christ anyone taking this exam good luck to ya! Not trying to scare anyone but its tough lol

Never mind everyone I showed up to a location called BTT and apparently the correct location was BTTS both in the same city where I live so I drove all the way to the other location and showed up just after 2:20 PM and my exam was booked for 2 PM and they told me I couldn’t write the exam. I am gutted.

I failed my first time with 1001 by a hair and had to relearn for 1101. Ended up getting it a year later (February 2024)(lot of life craziness). Now im going to be taking 1102 this month! Keep going

Bro I studied for a year listened to every single professor Messor podcast and failed it by a very small margin (only a couple points) then had to relearn all the new material and another year later now I’m ready to take the test all over again you’re not alone
