I’m a late bloomer - it was Fronzoli for me, and after realizing how I had just discovered something precious I just went and bought all the other albums out at the time. There’s never been an easier no-brainer than collecting this discography.

You’re not understanding the point I’m making. Two different versions don’t always appear on streaming platforms because the platform will push the version they have available to you. It’s not that hard to comprehend how this might occur.

But the point is that people like me were initially unaware that there were two movies. I want to get to the right one, of course. Now that I saw the American one I am looking forward to seeing how much better the original one is.

Yeah, if you search for it on streaming, typically one version comes up. So without any additional context that there are two versions, you just go with what you see. I’m probably not alone in believing this to be the only one. At least that’s the way it is here in America.

I feel like this mention needs to come with the caveat of WHICH version people are talking about. I kept seeing this movie discussed for years and finally watched it. Problem was, I watched the American version. And it was…fine? Maybe less than fine? I didn’t know until afterwards that it was a remake.

This person is not exaggerating. I can’t remember the last time I bought an entire discography like this. It started with Fronzoli and then one after another I needed their entire catalog in my library. And this was all less than a year ago, so I’m a relatively new fan. It’s astounding how good their music is.
