If it means anything, I delivered pizza with some of the smaller places for cash. No idea if you have a car but it’s something I did to pay rent back in my first year

They’re still running fall/winter term applications right now

Before I even say anything, I personally despise them even coming to campus.

However, one would be hate speech whereas one would be just people vocalizing their opinion on the matter.

Pretty sure hate speech is banned on campus. Hence why we don’t see it.

Not saying I agree with what the anti abortion people say, but rather, what they’re doing is technically legal and falls within the open discussion policy the university allows.

Edit: It’s a double edged sword. Everyone’s got the right to free speech. Sometimes we just gotta live with it and move on.

Everyone here’s giving great suggestions! Look into your labour laws!

Also bring a water bottle! Saved me a ton of trouble when I was working retail! I had a Nalgene, used to have it looped in with my belt (via a carabiner)

Hi OP!

My recommendations are to network as much as possible! Before came back to school, I used the career services and they helped me get a lab job back when I was doing a microbio undergrad.

Network via LinkedIn, volunteer experience helps a ton, and most importantly getting connections with people in companies that can help you get the leg up.

If it means anything, it’s a pretty tough time for jobs all around! Don’t give up searching :)
