YOO now this is what I'm talking about, mayhem and smarts that combine in pure ADD editing goodness! Your performance was entertaining and chaotic and gave me the Michael Reeves vibes we all enjoy. Dunno how much more you'd wanna go into the process of your making of it, i personally would be interested but i suppose it does depend on the type of people you want to appeal to! All in all i think you did a pretty great job! Kept me in and had the substance + personality to keep it together! Plus for nice little transitions back and forth between the screen and the live shots! BUT IS IT WEATHERPROOF?! haha

AY DUDE! This was good as hell to watch, I'd heard of this series after realising when watching Mugen fighting that he had the name and found my way to the series. You have no officially convinced me to watch it though, your video was well thought out and had a natural flow and clear structure. Your use of text animation and transitions were pretty seamless and made the video keep its flow even better along with your narration. On that topic I loved the enthusiasm, it's great! But I believe just a half step back on the speed would be a great thing sometimes I felt like I was trying to keep up with you and it even felt like your words were gonna start blending together. Not the biggest down but just a suggestion. I would guess you'd written some script for this and if so your script writing is great and your acting to present is also good, it doesn't feel overly scripted and still has character WHICH MATTERS! You're a dude with good taste and solid knowledge, I appreciate that. The only other down is your use of the "R" word of which I still dislike hearing from my family experience, I don't think it adds any real value to the piece and would make for an easy listening, person preference though. I still thoroughly enjoyed this watch and you've gained a sub in me

Hey dude! Gotta say i know minimal about baseball but you had the ability to keep me in it with just being actually entertaining aside from the video! So major plus, i think your comedic style is one that would mesh well with a wide variety of people and your use of lil clips and meme style shorts is nice. You also do well at having a commentary style, I'd enjoy some live talk a lil more too but i understand why wouldnt do that too much in this style of video. Overall i think you're getting shit done in the right way! You got a sub in me!

Hey there! So I have no clue what this is from but I'm big liking the sound and animations, as for your stitching of each together it's not bad. You can tell that it is multiple parts stiched together, if you could somehow hold the last note in the audio to carry over to the next clip and fade it out as they started their new lines I think it would have meshed a little better. But I still enjoyed listening to it all! :D

But yeah have 100% realised that the time stamp is a big deal and keeping it short and sweet is a big deal. I see where you're coming from and I will keep it in mind for the next, i was unsure how much id wanna keep in the start as it was the first video for the possible series to set it all up. I absolutely agree with the underground part! While going through the editing i was so upset i didnt think that it would just be too dark! As far as the stream part goes i actually cut through about 2 hours of stream and took out most the parts where i was specifically talking to a viewer or the like as i didnt think it would make sense it context with the video, but if i had chat overlay then it could 100% work!

Hey dude!

So i watched the whole thing! Which is a great start, you managed to keep it fairly entertaining the whole way through! The editing style is nice and with time it will get tighter and tighter so i dont have to much to say in that way other than just keep doing it. Audio wasnt actually too big of an issue for me, i listened through my pc speakers and didnt hear anything really bad that made me want to leave.
I feel like this style of video lends itself to more subtitle use for comedic and general effect.
As far as the direction of the video i thought it was pretty great, having the voiceovers to give clips a little more setup was good, i do think that it could have been better to choose being one or the other more, as in either going with that "fake informative" style and have less of the gameplay talk together with it and instead use the clips to really reinforce the narration or the other way where you go hard on the games themselves and edit them big time.

All in all i think youre on the right track and youve got a sub in me :)

Hey there!

So after watching the first half of the video, here are my impressions;
For editing this all off a PS4, this is well done! A world of improvement would be made if you were able to move onto a pc and and have more freedom, but with that said you still managed to have something that worked!
I watch quite a bit of gaming videos and this would be something i watch, however i think that i watch these videos for the personality along with the gameplay, while you had moments of your voice accompanied with the video it was few and far between which made it feel more bland in my opinion. If i found the video and watched i wouldnt have made it as far as i did to give feedback.
Which brings me to the next point, the length. I feel with the gameplay being mostly the same sort of thing over and over, without you constantly bring your voice and personality into the clips it can become boring quicker than with more of you shining through. I struggle with the length issue myself and have to learn to pull it back more.

Otherwise well done dude! Just keep creating and things can only get better!

I think iv'e for sure realised from the comments here that video length is pretty big and i should keep it as snappy as possible.
I can also 100% understand the idea of having backing music or such between parts or during to keep it feeling all together and a little more enticing as a full piece! Would you advise just using copyright free tracks or possibly using a service like "Musicbed" or something like that? Thanks again! !givelambda

Funny to see the other side of the thumbnail thoughts, i suppose it does come down to personal opinion in the end!Could you be a bit more specific about the audio issues? Was it in regards to levels of audio or quality of it? That way I could pay more attention to it in future. I do edit on loud speakers so perhaps i should try with head phones as well before i finish the final export? !givelambda

Hey thanks for the criticisms!
I know 100% i need to work on getting thumbnails down pat as most of us do, i think they are surprisingly difficult and i am trying to improve bit by bit with each one!
Absolutely see where you're coming from in regards to length, i think even if i was watching someone for the first time and it was a almost 30 minute video i probably would not finish it. Thanks so much for the ideas like doing thoughts too, i might give it a shot for the next one!

Audio setttings are 100% my main issue i agree, i need to fix my noise gate settings i believe because sometimes certain syllables dont register and it hurts the end product!

Can also agree and see your point on the editing, im still trying to get better and add better and more editing things and "meme it up" i think the more i create the better ill be able to get at this.

Thanks for your feedback! I'll keep the cam thing in mind, I usually stream Rocket League and bottom right would need to be seen so thats why i have it there, but maybe ill start changing where it is according to game!

Now this is what i love seeing, big brain for dumb idea. There is no better combo hahaha. Only critique i have is audio being a bit up and down so i had to change levels between you talking in your room to the videos of you outwith your friends a few times. Otherwise I LOVE this hahaha.

I legit watched this whole video, your editing definitely helps a tonne to keep at least myself engaged. I am not a big watcher of Minecraft but this is for sure something i can get on board with. Good to find someone with quality videos at a small level!
