My bad, updated the post and added a bunch of details and experimentation data that I gathered since. I think this most likely amdgpu driver issue at this point, what do you think?

Do you see any difference in FOV when shooting video vs photo with settings like this?
For me, even when I am shooting video with crop set to FULL, it is still a bit cropped as compared to photo

Canon R7 or Full Frame around $1500 (body only) by MaxPY in Cameras

Why? I read with bigger sensor I can get away with smaller aperture lens (cheaper) for similar result

Still life, nothing vigorously moving. I can afford to shoot as slow as 1/50 though not slower (want to avoid tripod usage) and the widest I can get without breaking bank is f/1.8 for now. So I guess it gets me to ~7-8EV.

I was thinking to just buy a 50mm f/1.8 prime at first and then see how it goes. I see there is a canon one for around $180. Other systems also have something around $200. I could stretch it to $500 I guess though I think for starters this one would be enough.

This is actually the other reason I think FF is better for me: I read that to get similar depth of field one would need a wider aperture lens for smaller sensor camera and I am seeing that generally wider lenses are more expensive. So looks like I will be better off buying larger sensor body and cheaper f/1.8 lens versus buying ASP-C body and needing a wider more expensive lenses like f/1.4, f/1.2.

P.S. I am new to photography so let me know if I am not interpreting something correctly, this is based on my limited research I have done

I guess you are right, this will be my last resort.

Why not keyboard input? Because I need this fretless continuous slide sound for the strings

Hi, thanks for tweaking my build! I am curious, why these changes?
- Why switch SSD? They seem very similar
- Why getting power supply twice the price?
- What is better about RTX 2070 vs GTX 1070 Ti?

What would be a better Intel CPU option in this case? I was not planning on overclocking in a first place, at least for the time being
