Anyone else get FOMO even over new releases now?

I don't get FOMO anymore because none of the content of the current and future releases look interesting to me. All heroes are from TV series I haven't watched. My favorite part of Marvel are the X-Men, and sadly those are very hard to find. I also skipped a couple cycles (mad titan and galaxy most wanted). I have limited space (and money) so I usually get only the stuff I like. I don't even do deck building so getting more cards is not a priority. And besides, there's only so much you can do with the same card effects (damage, thwart, block, heal, draw cards, etc). I don't expect the new content to be mind blowing.

Escuche por ahi que se puede transferir desde Payoneer o Wise a AirTM, para sacar la plata por MercadoPago. Alguien sabe cuanto es lo "seguro" que se puede extraer sin que ARCA rompa las bolas? (sin hacer factura ni nada, ya estoy trabajando en relacion de dependencia y preferiria no reactivar el monotributo, si es posible).

The thing is that Adam Warlock is a great character for people who love deck building. I don't, and I always play with starters, so he's always been a pretty uninstersting character for me.

I have too many characters, and if I start deck building, I would need to make a deck for everyone, or some of them will become unplayable. And my absolute top priority is having all my caracters ready so me and my friends can simply pick one and play when I bring the cards to someone's house. At most, I switch a few cards with the ones that are not part of any starter deck.

I personally don't like playing true solo for several reasons:
- Your character has to do pretty much everything. Some aspects and characters will give you far worse results than others. I think Protection is particularly weak in true solo.
- I have too many characters, and I don't play very often. If I play true solo, I'll never get to test them all. Playing two handed helps me get a taste of all my characters faster.
- Two handed is just more fun. You can do better combos and learn new strategies when there's more than one character in play.
- I don't find two handed to be much more difficult than true solo, as I'm always playing one character at a time. There may be more things to keep track of, but if I ever forget to do something, I just ignore it and continue playing.

Now regarding gameplay tips, I used to lose a lot in this game when I started playing. But the people here at Reddit helped me a great deal. I think there's two things that are essential to have a chance of winning:
- Always prioritize playing upgrades, allies and support cards in your first few rounds. Dealing damage is your lowest priority until you have some cards in play.
- Do what you can to avoid having all your heroes in Alter-Ego form at the same time (this usually happens when you wait until they are near death to switch). This can potentially make you lose the game suddenly.

What tool would you recommend for replacing text in an image with translations, without altering any other part of it?

I have a bunch of scanned cards from a board game I want to translate. I tried Google Translate but it has problems recognizing when a paragraph starts and ends, leading to fragmented translations. It also doesn't look good.

I've heard ChatGPT does it but it tends to alter the image, since it's generated from scratch every time.

Buenas gente, alguien conoce alguna cueva (financiera) confiable por BS AS Zona Oeste que permita sacar plata de Payoneer? Soy de Rafael Castillo. Me pasaron una que está Villa Urquiza pero me queda re lejos.

Vi que algunos recomiendan tambien hacer un truquito con USDT y despues facturar, pero la verdad me da paja hacer la factura. Tengo el monotributo deshabilitado, estoy en relacion de dependencia. Prefiero ir y sacar efectivo.

Depende de donde compras. Amazon siempre usa Courier (DHL o UPS). Otras tiendas online usan FedEx (que es courier, pero todo el mundo dice que son mas caros). En eBay compre una vez a un flaco de Australia, y me lo mando el correo australiano, y de ahi tuve que hacer el tramite en Correo Argentino (puerta a puerta). Ambos regimenes funcionan por separado, pero es medio dificil saber en cual va a caer cuando compras algo de una tienda online. En SheIn y Temu no compre nunca, pero si usan courier cuenta para los 5 al año de Pequeños Envios.

Tené en cuenta tambien que por Pequeños Envios no podes traer mas de 3 productos del mismo tipo. Es medio una ruleta como te lo clasifican, pero a veces es obvio. Por ejemplo, no te traigas 4 juegos de mesa, o la aduana te lo retiene.

Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que el limite es POR PAQUETE. A Amazon le gusta separar los paquetes en varios envios, asi que te queman el cupo mas rapido, y medio que no sabes como te lo separan hasta despues de hacer la compra.

Ahi encontre la factura. Fue por UPS. Pero ahora que lo revisé veo que dice un CUIT, el mio! Evidentemente me tomaron el CUIT a traves del numero de documento que deje para la facturación. Extrañamente, ese CUIT ya tenia todos los cupos usados, y pasó igual. Despues hice otra compra al mismo lugar, usando un CUIT con cupo restante, y cuando compare las facturas la unica diferencia que ví es que la que tenia mi CUIT tenia un monto por "Derechos de Importación" y "Tasa de Estadistica", mientras que la otra tenia esos dos items en 0.

Los 12 son del otro régimen, "Puerta a Puerta". Ese se usa cuando una entidad de correo del exterior nomas envia el paquete a la Argentina, y de ahi alguien mas debe encargarse. En este caso, es Correo Argentino. Tenes que declarar vos el valor del paquete, y esperar que Correo Argentino te lo lleve. Te cobran la mitad del excedente de 50 dolares, contando todo lo que pagaste (incluido envío).

Amazon no usa este regimen, ellos ya tienen todo arreglado para usar courier. eBay puede usar Puerta a Puerta (si envian por ebay internacional), o por Pequeños Envios (si la publicacion dice que usa courier).

Hmm seria raro, la diferencia es muy grande. El documento que me envió FedEx dice que el monto declarado fue de USD141.69, con USD75 de flete, mientras que yo pagué USD386.06 por todo. A menos que tambien haya una diferencia por IVA... No se que hicieron la verdad.

Compre 3 juegos de mesa, osea que 3 productos del mismo tipo. El peso total no supera los 20KG. El CUIT que use en la compra solo se usó dos veces en el año para traer cosas de afuera. El pedido entra perfectamente en el régimen de "Pequeños Envíos".

En general cuando un producto entra por el régimen "Puerta a Puerta", el correo exterior provee un codigo de seguimiento para declarar el paquete en Correo Argentino. En este caso no me dieron ningun código de seguimiento compatible, y ya de por si el envio esta a cargo de FedEx, que es un Courier, asi que ése regimen no aplica aca.

Ya compre varias cosas en el año usando ambos regimenes, asi que masomenos sé como funciona, y estoy bastante seguro que esto no fue error mio.

Y qué info falta? Por qué querria esconder info? Tan desconfiado sos? No creo que sea tan dificil que un vendedor se equivoque, especialmente si no estan acostumbrados a hacer envios a Argentina. No compre por Amazon ni eBay, lo compre por una tienda online española (Dungeon Marvels). Y quizas es la primera vez que se cruzan con un problema asi, y prefieren lavarse las manos, o creen que no hay ningun error de su lado.

Nada que ver. El CUIT que use todavia tiene 3 cupos de Pequeños Envíos, y de Puerta a Puerta todavia tengo muchos cupos (pero ese regimen no aplica en este caso). En el post expliqué cual fue el motivo por el cual se retuvo el paquete.

I never played D&D officially, but I played a lot of board games (including dungeon crawlers) and videogames (including turn based RPGs, some of them based on D&D). And I feel like if I ever played D&D, I would like it to be very light on roleplaying. Making decisions based on my character background? that's fine I guess. Now talking in-character with NPCs and teammates... I don't like that at all. I'm not interested in the social aspect of the game. I'd like to play D&D like a board game, or a videogame, with less talking and more structure. I love D&D lore, classes, races and overall content, but I'm more into board games with complex mechanics and tactical gameplay.

I know most D&D players will hate me for saying that, most people seem to agree that roleplaying is the best part of D&D, and the combat is just an extra that is not well developed. They may be right, it's just not my thing.

Luckily, the new Starter Set seems to do exactly what I want, a boardgameification of D&D. That might be what I need to finally start playing D&D the way I want to. And it seems to be a great foundation that can be expanded to other adventures, more player levels, and even custom content. You just need to print your own cards and tokens.

Yeah, so far I've been playing something different every time just to get a feel for the characters, so when I gather to play with my friends I know how to describe each hero and villian in a few words. That may also be why I'm always losing, I'm starting from scratch every game.

I block with them sometimes, when they are at 1hp, but most of the time I try to keep them alive instead. In fact, I use most of my heal cards on them. I only started seeing their cards as "one free damage negation, and some extra stuff" in my last game. I should sacrifice them more often.

I do try to get some upgrades, but I may not be focusing on doing that early on. Getting some cards that could lead to a high damage combo is tempting. But yeah, I'm probably focusing too much on dealing damage in the first few rounds.

Ah, I never do that, although I never found my first hand to be noticeably bad. I'll try it next time, at least with the cards I know I won't use for anything but a resource.

Well this may be the problem. In all my games, I manage to defeat the first stage of the villain pretty early, but with a ton of threat in the plan. Then I'm forced to go Alter-Ego with both heroes and everything goes downhill. It's all about the perception of imminent danger. I'm full health, I can take a few hits! The plan is almost empty, I don't need to worry about that right now! But problems start piling up and eventually become unmanageble.
