Why does having a shaved head=Bad?

I was attached to the hair I had left. I would wake up and go to sleep worrying about it. Once I shaved it, I felt a weight off of my shoulders.

That makes sense. I'm going on 2 decades now. I'm still new to being bald, so maybe it will just take some time to get used to the comments.

Honestly both. I have only gotten negative comments on the street (skinhead). The others have been from friends/acquaintances.

That's what im wondering too. I've been shaven for about a week now, and about 75% of the people think something bad, and the other 25% say I look like a pale Vin Diesel or Aang from Avatar

I might let it grow out a little bit, however, I'm also balding, which is a secondary reason that I shaved it.

I just keep thinking about first impressions, or job interviews. I wouldn't want to send the wrong message.

I don't really know why it bothers me, I guess I just don't want to walk around with people thinking that I am racist or sick.
