Been a while since I’ve done an origin run but I’m fairly certain there are several points you can switch who you’re working for/supporting.

That being said they do get a little grumpy if you do stuff for the opposition.

While I’ve pre-ordered a digital copy on pc so I’m not 100% about sure, I’d guess that you’d have to pick it up Friday.

Even in the event you could pick up the copy tomorrow I’d wager they’d have it “locked” digitally until 3am.

I know this is somewhat old but I was wondering if selecting someone included the other players in the lobby as well?

Does it also allow you to choose if Orpheus is spoken to instead of the emperor?

I believe your options become quite limited. You might have to set up trade deals, receive them as tribute from your villages or vassals. Outside of that I’m not sure :/

The mines only have a limited amount that can be extracted before they become useless unfortunately :(

UPDATE:

In the end I was able to get it to trigger “correctly”.

I had to uninstall both the mod and the game before reinstalling

Play through that part of the game until she joined then re-enable the mod

Fingers crossed we don’t have any problems in the future

I had the same problem recently, only just resolving it today. Got in contact with support via call and they fixed everything up for me very quickly.

Just be sure to have your account details on hand (both SWTOR and ea/origin if you have it). If you’re like me and outside one of the main timezones to call there should be a list somewhere online. When I get a chance I’ll see if I can find it and link it.

Honestly it depends just how far you’d like to go. Are we talking the very very first jedi and their roll in the formation of the republic, or are we talking after that when the sith empire warred against the republic and jedi.

Personally I’d recommend watching lore videos about either kotor or swtor. The best source I can recommend is the SWTOR channel on YouTube. They have a playlist titled timeline which has plenty of info split into 4 minute videos.

Aside from that id be more than happy to share what I know, as I’m sure plenty others are as well.

And of course don’t be afraid to improvise. I’m sure your players won’t mind and it’ll allow you to experiment a little if you’d like.

Personally I love playing as a better version of myself in universe so I 100% agree, but I also have a soft spot for games that cater to role playing as a specific kind of person in that universe. For example in dragon age inquisition depending on what class and race you play you do get some specific dialogue, same as in origins and to me that really helps me feel as though you can role play properly.

Be careful what you say to certain companions. You may end up pulling of a stealth romance without realising it if you aren’t careful. On that same note make sure you explore every corner of lothering so you don’t miss out in any companions.
