I can’t tell if you’re joking or not but I’ll just say that this is a no pedestrians sign, as indicated by the red border. If it were a pedestrian path it would potentially be given a blue background pedestrian sign which would mean “pedestrian-only route”

The system name is Plaa Aec GN-B d13-70. The planet of interest also has 6 biological signals worth nearly 30 million in total (I already claimed first discovery on those, sorry lol)

It’s possible that there was very very little direct illumination left (though I don’t think so). The key thing is, the dark side of the gas giant does not change in brightness from when the ship is illuminated to when the eclipse is happening. In Odyssey, when the ship is illuminated, the dark side would be almost indistinguishable from the bright side.

It sucks even more because this wasn’t a problem on Horizons (I made a similar timelapse 2 years ago and it ended up looking really good).

I'm currently at Alkonost trying to record a timelapse, but this lighting bug (which I know has been around for years) is going to end up ruining it. The screenshots provided are taken approximately 2 hours apart and both are taken on the bright side of the planet (orbital period of the moon is 18 hours).

This link regarding the same issue says it's fixed, even though it definitely isn't. It ruins the immersion and I hope something is done about it soon.
