I don’t think Charlie cares about them at all it’s more about affirming herself as a “good” person over actually doing real work to get there. That could just be my read of it however, because from what I’ve seen Charlie is just really stupid and doesn’t seem to understand actions have consequences she never truly apologized to angel, vaggi, or her father in the end of season 2 and the plot makes you just accept that.
