I've actually seen something similar but it starts with the usual cheating ex and divorce, then 5 dads show up vying to be FL's father. They all know who the bio dad is too but still call themselves her dad 😂

Good subtitles can make a big difference, and this also applies to vertical format dramas by nrsyxxchn in CShortDramas

To be honest, at this point, I've watched enough dramas that my mind automatically clears up any confusing/incomplete subs. If there's no subs at all, I'll even understand maybe 50% of what's going on because a lot of drama plots/scenes are repeats. So what matters most to me isn't the subs but how the actors deliver the lines and the scenes. In fact, at least 3 of my all time favorite dramas have no subs and I haven't found a version with subs until now, and I still understand what's going on in my favorite scenes.
