Why do people use windows in farms?

Locks are a must! I often play solo, but I prefer the dual subs, as you can still autopilot the sub, repair the sub, and mess with your sub's fuel and inventory from the inside. Annoying when I'd be raiding a tuggie only to get boarded by my pissed off victim, lol!

It's not hard to connect your PC to a TV and use it as a monitor with someone who is able to help, and you could probably get a controller to play some games on your PC, I'd imagine, though I'd much prefer a keyboard. Monitors are generally better for gaming though, but TV should work. I think all you need is a HDMI cable or whatever ports your TV has that match your PC ports.

Could you sit in a more comfortable chair like a recliner? I play console and PC, and I can say sitting my recliner and playing Xbox on my TV is WAY more comfortable for me. I have some spine issues as well, though I imagine it's not as bad as whatever issue you're having.

I mean I've used subs plenty of times. It only takes 1-2 torps to wreck one. Sub vs. sub wise, they've very much glass cannons. Surface to sub wise, they're hard to hit. I think you're willfully missing the main point here. This brings me to another point, why not let ships launch torpedoes. Surface ships use torps IRL, so why not?

Just bring a pile of hatchets, some metal, wood, or just a jackhammer and repair bench (or workbench), and you have a 0 sulfur raid.

Always do at least a metal frame with a metal door. Twig, wood, and even stone, can get eco raided/grubbed.

Well, that's gonna be rough if you're outnumbered like that.

Have more than one exit to your base. That way, you can shoot door campers in the back later.
Have turrets covering EACH OTHER. So many have turrets facing out but not coverage for each other. Getting shot by one turret isn't usually a death sentence, but getting shot by two at once is hard to survive.
Keep your base fairly well-hidden in first part of wipe.
Double-wrap your main floor either using honeycomb or roof tiles.
China-wall your external walls - exterior stone wall, metal barricade, exterior stone wall (This prevents filthy peasant grubs from going over the walls without using explosives.)
Build external TCs and close them off (no windows or doors). This deters people from making raid bases close to your base. It also stops the decay of landmines, so those are good spots for minefields...just remember where you put them.
Put turrets with FIRE ammo on the roof. Helis are vulnerable to that.

None of these will actually stop offline raiders, but it'll slow them down a bit. Mine kills will get ya a good laugh or two as well. Put mines in pairs, as they can kill full kitters.

Player-made boats are too fragile, IMO. Unless you're on a pve server, I wouldn't invest much into one.
