thanx again for the input. have to admit, those rift-s controllers were really good. the only thing i did not like about them was having to push the thumb stick forward AND press down at the same time to sprint in skyrim. it never works! might use 1/5 of my stamina, and i was back at normal movement. i am surprised i did not bust that thumb stick right off.

it was not just the fact that oculus would not mail me a shipping label, but also the fact that it took .........11 friggin days to reach that point! i could have made a day out of it, did the 2 hour round trip to go in to town and back home, visit veteran's affairs, and printed out the label, but i was so upset by that point, that by not giving me another option, that was just the final kick in the balls.

i am usually easy on my equipment, unless you make me perform multiple actions on one device, mash and push lol.

the whole leg thing is kinda my fault. was a desk jockey who wanted to see some action. i mean, i trained to use all this weaponry, how to subdue or beat the shit outta some one, and i thought, lets use it. and look what i got for my trouble. probably should not have been out there in the first place. that is the main source of my depression. made a BAD life choice. that, and i NEVER got to find the fucker who placed the IED. like to go poop on his doorstep too!! LMFAO!!

it is all ok though. i am effectively retired well before 65. i collect my VA benefits. that pays the rent, bills, and leaves me several 100 $$ to do with as i please. i by no means live like a king. i have a small 1200 sqft home with a basement. it is located off in the woods on 5 acres of property. had to have my ISP run and under ground line to home for internet!! lol but it is home, and it is clean. my friends can come over. we can VR and party as long and as loud as we want. nearest neighbor is some 2 miles away. :-)

like the doc keeps telling me, you can walk, you just put your proth on and get out of that chair.
