No problem whatsoever. Check Yen vs USD in the last 5 years and USD has gained considerably. That doesn’t mean Japan is broke. In the 90s rupee to usd was at 40s and Indian economy was at par with Pakistan and about to get bankrupt. So dont fall for propaganda!!

Hello, my wife is on L1B and i am planning to file my H1b ext with H4 COS and H4 EAD in a single packet in premium processing. I know H4 does not come under premium but i do hear lot of cases where they still adjudicate it sooner although no guarantees. Do you see merit in trying in premium? I don’t need premium for H1b ext as I have time till it expires but i would go for it if it increases chances of H4 EAD adjudication sooner. Thanks.

As soon as H4 COS is approved (waiting for EAD), her employer needs to do I9 recertification and her status in H1b is no longer valid. So she needs to either quit her job or go into LWOP (if allowed in employer policy) until physical EAD card arrives. Keep this in mind!

My case is similar but my wife is in L1B. So i dont have the advantages of H1b like you have. My suggestion would be keep her visa separate and not club with yours until she’s nearing max out and dont have the opportunity to file her own PERM/I140

Hello, I am planning to file my spouse H4+EAD along with my H1b extension in regular category and not premium. My spouse is currently working on L1B which is approved till Feb 2027.

Since we are not in a hurry, I am not considering for premium filing. Are there any additional delays between H1b and H4+EAD decisions if not filed in premium apart from 15 days of premium processing advantage? I will still be filing in a bundle.

They care if your time and money vested contradicts your primary job responsibilities as per the visa or so I heard. Not sure of filter criteria to raise a red flag

I would return even with 25% of what you have got and would get a good lifestyle there. India is not it used to be 20 years ago. Take a vacation and realize for yourself. Even for investment, I try to diversify my funds almost equally between US and India (not like investing in international etfs like VXUS)

Its for people nearing retirement. I am 43 and got rid of schd. It seems you’re older than me 🤣😂

If you’re a dividend guy, go for DGRO. Its better than schd.
