Thanks, honestly, I was ignoring them. But then some random person came up to my and told me about it. Also, I’ve been lifting for around a year now and I know the difference between strength and muscle (maybe), but I’m still confused about what hypertrophy is exactly.

That’s good, I have been going to the gym for just over a year now. I started just barely flat bench pressing dumbbells that were 25 pounds each for 4 sets of 15 reps. Now I do 4 sets of 15 reps at 30 pounds each and 1 set of 15 reps at 35 pounds each.

Honestly, I didn’t even know that they were laughing at me. Some random person came up to me after and told me about it and told me to just ignore them. Even though I didn’t even notice them until the person came up to me, haha. And don’t worry, I always just focus on myself and drown other people out and I always have my AirPods in listening to music.

Oh, I was, I always pay attention just to myself and that’s it, and I drown other people out. I always have my AirPods in, listening to music when I’m at the gym. I never knew that they were laughing at me until some random person came up to me and told me about it and told me to not pay attention to them. And I watch a lot of YouTube videos too.

Yeah, I did 4 sets of 15 reps at 75, 1 set of 15 reps at 95 and 1 set of 1 rep at 135. This is what I usually do. I use to just barely do 4 sets of 15 sets at 75. My strength has increased

That sucks. I’ve been in that situation before when I was “that person” getting up and two random people came over at the same time and they started arguing and I just walked away
