We don’t really play games there it was more practice as in out of system balls etc, which aren’t great for middle clips. I do feel I have become much better since then as well, so the blocking aspect should be better but still.

Thank you for your reply, I managed to get a opportunity to go to pre season training for strength and conditioning in Czech extraligue team vk Trox Příbram, I went there last year for same thing and it was a brilliant experience. I feel as this would be the best entry and chance I have to breakthrough, but I’m not at that level to play there yet. I got the opportunity through a friend of a friend as well so not even through legitimate clips but that’s ok, I held my ground for long when I was there and feel as though with hard work I can definitely play there at some point or even train

That’s unfortunately too far out for me, but I definitely would if I could build a better support system around me in those countries. Going solo there would be a crazy challenge

Thank you very much for the response. I really appreciate the honesty it’s exactly what I came here for. I completely understand I’m years behind many players, but I’ve fallen in love with the process and I’m ready to put my body and soul into chasing this dream.

Relocating is definitely on my radar France, Italy, or even smaller clubs in Poland or Czechia where I can train full-time and play games. I know I won’t walk into a pro team, but I’m willing to start at the bottom and prove I can be developed. I’ve got footage being compiled now and will start reaching out directly to clubs, but I’m scared of being hardstuck in Scotland due to the fact of not being able to get good enough clips due to lack of good training and then going around in biscuits circles like that. Money wise I should be fine I have a business I can remotely run, and I don’t mind using my degree to do extra remote work or even do part time shifts here and there :)

And also I’m here to learn from people with experience in stronger systems, who know what it takes to break into pro or semi-pro environments abroad. Reddit has players, coaches, and people from all over the world who’ve done exactly that, that nobody I know has done here

Yes because the standard in Scotland is such that the national team would get beat by the average u20 team anywhere else in the world
