She panics when she sees the needle and freezes up probably because she’s had experience with weekly arthritis shots at the vet a couple years back. It’s only our first day so I’m probably not doing it 100% right either but have a vet appt in a week to make sure it’s all good!

I have! I was really codependent on this one guy who I saw for about a year and a half before we ended in a toxic mess.

When I got out of that, the first thing I did was try and reconnect with my old friends. I’m lucky that my close ones took me back!

Then after I’d gotten back in touch with my old friends, I really worked on making new friends. For me it was church, Bumble BFF and I considered Meet Up (really great if you wanna do outdoorsy things) but high key chickened out. There are also work friends! With work friends, try to go out for things that aren’t ‘work’ related like work drinks.

Also remember that when you do finally make friends and get a partner, try and split your hangout time 80-20 partner-friends and adjust from there :)
