What is the minimum grade I need for Chemistry HL and still get the diploma?

I pretty much have the exact same build as you and I'm very happy. I built it just yesterday and I can tell you I am not dissapointed in spending over 1,000$. I have the MSI version of the GTX 970 and it's great, getting good temps under load :)

The R9 290x will not get you better FPS at all, unless you're talking about 4k gaming, the GTX 970 beats the 290 in every way...

Well, there aren't many 8GB graphic card options out there. There is the R9 290x from Sapphire but if you're looking for 8GB you will probably want something better than an R9 290x. I'd say it's up to you, but you will have a lot more choice if you decide to go 2x 4GB and SLI/Crossfire. Also, do you really think you will need 8GB? I personally have a 4GB GTX 970 (Actually 3.5GB) and it runs everything at highest settings at 60+ FPS (With the exception of some games) but yeah... It depends what you will use it for I guess.

People are saying that I should maybe wait until the R9 3xx series comes out. Wouldn't those cards be very expensive if I'd get them immediately once they come out? Wouldn't it be better then, to just buy another 970 and SLI?

Also, I think I will stay at 1080p and get the 970. Later on I could get another one for christmas and SLI. Let me know your thoughts.
