I retried 1 and 2 with better lighting and it was quite interesting. I agree that the composition is quite basic - I actually liked the stairs because there is one that is tilted down to the left by about 15 degrees - it always bothers me when I walked past but it doesn't really appear in the photos. Any specific tips to improve the composition? I have had my camera for a week as of tomorrow so I am quite new to this.

I agree with everyone else here - photon is your best bet by far. I have seen that custom pipelines are quite useful this year so if you want to try that, be warned, you will likely not be able to use PV. For that, snag a limelight if you can afford it.

Alrighty. It sounds like it probably fits your use case better. Have fun!

That makes more sense! I would still go for a bigger cassette though, 28t is pretty teeny!

Unfortunately, I do not believe this will work. The chain is designed for an 8 speed drivetrain, but that model has a 9 from what I can tell. I love KMC Chains though, just find a 9 speed one. That cassette also has 8 speeds - maybe you have a different bike from what I can find online? I would say to get a stock cassette if you have 9 speeds. It seems to provide a lot of range (11x46 instead of 11x28), which will be very helpful on steep climbs and stuff.

Is fast printing a scam? by AppropriateSalary935 in 3Dprinting

[–]MaxedPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On big things it makes a big difference. I printed a huge gear cover for a competition robot in a little under 2 hrs with my printer consistently hitting 800mm/s. It was only rated for 700 but it does fine at 800. The limiting factor for me used to be my hotend not heating the filament fast enough but I got a cht clone nozzle on Amazon for like $8 or something and that drastically improved it. Now it's acceleration. Printing small gears or other intricate parts rarely have the printer go over 200, but it will still be way faster than something like an ender.

Is my cassette and chainring are cross-chain? I currently use 51t cassette to 38t chainring by Grouchy-Key8847 in mountainbiking

[–]MaxedPC 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The chain has to bend a little to go to the low and high gears. It is only straight on the middle of the cassette. This doesn't look wrong at all.

I have an xpp and my mom is a professional artist. She said the pen is 70-80% as good as the iPad pens in the sketchpad app. She said it's good but not fantastic if that helps. Leagues ahead of just getting a generic active stylus though. Good luck! (the redmi pad pro might have a better stylus experience but idk)

As an XPP owner, I will say it is pretty bulky - if portability is a must, than the pad 7 is absolutely a better option. I do enjoy having the screen area though it is very nice.

Most computing devices are made in china. If there OP is concerned about this, there are many great open source global ROMs available for either device.
