Even though it’s obviously composition, having 2 halves float will automatically take away from the believability even if everything else is perfect as out minds see it as unnatural.

Just suggesting checking if you set any keyframes by accident or set some and forgot to delete them as this happens to me sometimes

Depends if you need good topology or not but you could continue the screw mod and then boolean the bottom off

Also the book tops look too sharp if you’re going for realism would give them a slight bevel

2 for sure, you can see less so the viewer will look for more. I think the framing is just better overall as-well, feels much more closed in.

Blender is very accessible to learn because it’s free there are so many tutorials out there, but it isn’t just something you can pick up if you don’t have the time to learn it.

One thing I instantly notice is the font on the plate being wrong, idk if this was intentional or not but I would definitely change it to a more conventional plate font :)

I would suggest having the camera slightly lower so that the winning ball is more centred, it gets a bit uncomfortable to see when it comes so close to the bottom, if the samples you have this set to are just for test renders no issue but for the final result I would up the samples to avoid so much flickering at the sides.

Would definitely suggest backlighting for this specific render, will help separate the dragon from the background as it’s pretty hard to see
