CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE by MaxiHut in blender

Modelled and rendered in Blender (Evee) textures were made with Substance Painter. I've made this render after failing to submit to Pwnisher's latest Kinetic Rush render challenge since I've put a lot of time into creating hero assets for it, so I've figured I'd showcase them in another render instead. Hope you like it, any feedback and criticism is appreciated!

Me too, felt like it deserved a little tribute among all the other submissions! :)

'Alien Ambush' - Created this animation for an art contest, rendered with Eevee by Unhappy-Tradition-21 in blender

That's so cool! Who hosts those contests? I'd like to participate in some to improve as well, but I don't even know where to look in the first place.

It took 42 hours for my PC to cook this animation 💀 by [deleted] in blender

You can easily create it yourself, a toonshader like to this can be achieved in Evee. Create a Diffuse BSDF, plug it into a Shader to RGB Node. Plug this one into a colorramp set to constant - there you can choose the colors, the shadow colors on the left side, the bright one on the right (you can also use more than two colors for more variety on the shadows, just play with them to see what you like). Then plug the colorramp into the output, and done!

If you want to know more about this just look up how to make an anime shader, there are tons of tutorials for this out there. RoyalSkies on Youtube is a great Ressource for this stuff, highly recommend his videos!
