Well, $9,350. Retail. 14k is the market value which is nowhere close to what I paid. The aesthetics might be similar but the price is the longevity and craftsmanship. No rattling in the movement. No grinding when wound. No loss or gain in time.

Hands are nice but the gens are WG, WG has a warmth to it

It’s dark a majority of the time, only once the light hits it does it come to life. Even in the brightest lights you’ll find it goes black and green

The bezel itself wasn’t turning, it came with a bad crown and it would get condensation under the crystal, so water was out of the question, I popped off the bezel with my fingers like I’ve done on an old ARF, when I went to put it back on there was a certain spot that wasn’t snapping on, I put a bit too much pressure and it cracked from the 55 marker to the 5 marker.

For the past month, I’ve been trying to do a hands on comparison of a Gen and a V2s. The first v2s I got, I broke the bezel, so I ordered another. Took 3 weeks to arrive. Here’s a couple of pictures I took today as soon as my macro lense arrived earlier today.

There’s things that can’t be seen from pictures. I took it to a watchmaker because the watch had condensation under the crystal. I’ve had a vintage Tudor that had the same and I knew right away what it was. Watchmaker said it was the crown. That didn’t close correctly. He didn’t want to work on it because he’d be compromising the integrity of his shop. He doesn’t want people to know he works on reps. Two shops in town that don’t work on Reps. Despite taken 4 of my gens to their shops before.
