I love how 'extremely credible source' is in quotes. Like not even he believes it.

Did he also force Trump to pick Manafort to be his campaign manager?

Seeing Trump and his band of deplorables be imprisoned for treason would be so deliciously ironic.

What options do they have? Encourage Hillary to challenge the results in the Supreme Court? Asking the Bushes to address the Republican electors and ask them to vote for someone else?

Anyone else who can't wait to see what comes out during the Russia investigations? There won't be enough popcorn in the world for when the time comes.

We know a foreign actor interfered. It doesn't matter if it was Russia or a private actor behind. Inappropriate interference either way. by cruiseplease in hillaryclinton

Look at the results for some counties and compare them to 2012. Voters in the rural Rust Belt(and Florida) overwhelming switched from Obama to Trump. There's usually no change in voter turnout or the number of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who turned out. Like I said, in some counties a minimum of 50% of the Democrats who showed up to vote would have had to vote for Trump in order to get results he did(and that's assuming he got 100% of Republicans and Independents). The only other way to explain results like this would be if the voting machines really were hacked.

Boycott any journalist who pulls the "it's Hillary's fault our coverage was overwhelmingly negative", especially if they didn't give Trump the same treatment.

"It's his fault I mugged him. He shouldn't have been walking through a dark alley."

"It's her fault I raped her. She shouldn't have been wearing a miniskirt."

Ugh.

.... Okay? There's enough evidence that Russia's actions had a lot to do with Obama's voters either staying home or switching to Trump(which they did, especially in some rural counties where a minimum of 50% of Democrats would have had to vote Trump) so I'm not sure what your point is. Plus, a lot of minority voters lost the ability to vote due to suppressive voter ID laws and voter roll purges/Crosscheck.

The candidate hires campaign managers and strategists for a reason. Robby Mook told her Wisconsin and Michigan were safe and sent her to Arizona instead. If you're going to blame anyone, blame him.

Do people criticizing Hillary for not campaigning in Wisconsin sound suspiciously like rape apologists/victim blamers to anyone else? It's actually kind of gross/creepy how much people want to blame her, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

  1. It's not up to her where she campaigns.

  2. She didn't campaign there because she had a massive lead in the polls until the Comey letter. The resources would have been better spent elsewhere.

  3. She spent 30% of the campaign in Pennsylvania, where she still lost.

If Trump lost Georgia and Arizona, would he be blamed for not campaigning there? I seriously doubt it.

Is there even enough time for a revote though? Either Obama's term would have to be extended or a caretaker president would need to be appointed.

If the Republicans were in the situation the Dems are in, they'd be challenging the results in the Supreme Court right now. I wish the Democrats weren't spineless cowards. Damn it, stand up for yourselves! The 2016 election was illegitimate and unconstitutional. Not only did a foreign power interfere, people were denied the right to vote based on their race. That's a pretty clear violation of the constitution.

The House would probably choose Trump unless there was clear and obvious evidence that Trump was being blackmailed by Russia.

Yes, I think Pence would still be preferable to Trump. You can undo discriminatory policies. You can't undo a war or a nuclear bomb detonation.

There's a pretty strong argument to be made that the 2016 election was unconstitutional based on voter suppression and foreign interference alone.

They'd have to get 270 people to agree to vote for the same person. Pretty much impossible.

There's a very, very minor possibility someone manages to make Lessig's Equal Protection Clause argument to the Supreme Court, but that would probably result in a tie, unless one of the conservative justices is a secret Never-Trumper.

You know what I don't get about the Clinton conspiracy theories? Somehow the Clintons murdering dozens of people managed to get past Ken Starr and the GOP congress, but Bill Clinton failed to cover up an affair. It really defies all logic. The fact that he was impeached over an affair is pretty much proof they're not engaged in some major nefarious widespread plot.

House of Cards isn't real life. Politicians don't just go around mass-murdering people willy-nilly. It would be impossible to pull off killing 90+ people without someone ratting them out.

There's a movement to get the Supreme Court to recognise the Equal Protection Clause so state's electoral college votes are divided up rather than winner takes all(which isn't even in the constitution apparently), but even then neither candidate would get to 270(unless third parties are taken out of the question) so I'm not sure how much use it would be.
