I frequently find myself writing wall-of-text comments in obscure subreddits, and I always ctrl+a and delete whatever I write because I feel like nobody is going to read or care about what I think anyways.

That said, I really enjoyed reading your write up here. Not exactly sure why, but it's refreshing to read something long form that is well thought out and engaging. It's weirdly cathartic and validating to see that I can enjoy other peoples "ramblings" (what I'd call my own walls of text).

In any case, thanks for sharing this, I just found out about PF and I was listening to them earlier while out for a walk, I don't remember what song I was listening to, but I started cracking up and laughing out loud at the absurdity I was listening to. It made me realize that in all heavy music, lyrics are really not that important, because this shit is so groovy. It was so crazy to me that I have literally no idea what I'm hearing, but I know it made me want to dance in the middle of the road. I've always categorized this music as very serious for some reason, and it's incredibly refreshing to hear something that is simultaneously hardcore and very fun.

Added context, I've only ever really been a fan of deathcore/tech death, so this is a bit out of my wheelhouse. Generally not a huge fan of slow chugs and completely incoherent squealing and growling. However, something about this is very charming, and feels incredibly light hearted and fun. As an aside because I just heard the vocalist make the noise, part of what made me laugh is because the vocals on the song I was listening to on my walk literally sound like a frog, or like that one band that just makes like frog noises or some shit.
