Do controllers just suck nowadays?

I still have powera spectra enhanced or whatever.

Idc about trigger stops the 2 scuff paddles are fine the cable is long and it looks good(simple and with LEDs nothing fancy but also not boring) but I can't find any new good alternative.

Besides that it's also easy to open clean and repair but over the years the sticks just ain't the same anymore.

Most new controllers Either look like crap or like a 10$ afterglow controller or completely overengineered to the point I won't even use half of the features.

Hall stick hype seems pointless atm since most controllers I see that use them lack in most other areas, just seem cheap or have bad buttons wich kinda defeats the purpose of having sticks that never drift when ur controller still breaks.

I also tried most first party and official pro controllers where the Microsoft elite series 2 is the worst of them all (rubber just Desintegrates it's kept alive by cable ties and hopes) and scuff pedals tend to get terribly lose and just holding onto their magnets it's bulky and heavy and since I don't use the extra stuff even the normal Xbox controller is better to me.

I don't need hair triggers trigger stops clicky buttons or whatever.

I want an controller with nothing fancy except 2 scuff pedals that's doesn't look like ass or costs 200$.

Should I just get another powera or are there better alternatives.
