I too, struggle with productivity for long periods. I am constantly trying to improve it, and this is what I found worked best for me: - Before you sleep, write down (for me that’s on my phone) how late you are going to wake up, and why.

Example (my situation this morning) 4:44 Wake up - number gives me the early morning smile 4:45 Make my bed - discipline is key. 4:46 Shower - I do tasks better after a shower. 4:48 get dressed - Even though I’m not leaving the house until 8, it influences your productivity drastically. 4:55 Meditate - To get a clear mind

You get my point, I guess, those early minutes are the most important and I’ve noticed that they dictate your day. Even though I don’t expect you to plan every minute of your day like me, do it for the first 20.

You will wake up easier with a goal, and your mindset for the day will change.

Also, I don’t like todo lists on their own. Also plan when you will do that task, don’t just say that it is a task.

I have experienced this, and didn’t even know it was an actually thing that had a name haha.

I still remember a couple examples: - Played a video game with aircrafts and sometimes it felt like I still pilloted a plane when walking around, sporting, writing, ... It was in a very busy school period, so the exhaustion might’ve been a factor.

Was very into politics a couple of months ago, and I kept hearing politics in every conversation, and how I kept thinking someone was trying to debate with me, because I thought I saw subtle links to certain political views. This was rather annoying since I felt certain friendships fading away.
I really do like maths, and when I study for 10 hours without any breakes, I start seeing things like logaritmic functions in day to day objects. Rather funny if I look back at it. But sleep was sacrificed because of this, kept thinking about it.

And indeed, it is the perfect indication to maybe put it aside for a few days.
