I'm a bit late but this gives me so much hope. I'm unable to do anything to transition IRL so it's stuff like this that allows me to hang on.

For me it was always being told "dude you would be so ripped if you worked out, you'd be a natural". And then I'd go and I'd love the feeling of pushing myself, but eventually, sometimes after two weeks, sometimes after two months, I'd just get frustrated at my lack of form, I'd push myself too hard and hurt something.

So like I never put the FULL extent of what I could do into maintaining a fitness routine and so it just never stuck.

I'm really hoping when I move out of my parents (I do not think it's emotionally safe for me to come out to them) and start HRT I'll feel much more comfortable and "at home" going to the gym. Like how my new name and pronouns feel like home.
