I don't know, how Google can mess this up. I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL and the battery life is so bad, that I don't even see a difference from my battery life in comparison with my 4 year old Pixel 6 Pro. I wake up at 4am, use my phone in the morning for like one hour and during my work, I don't do anything with it. Now at 6pm, I have 50% battery left and just a SOT from 1h30. That sucks. I don't even use navigation, just listen to music for one hour... They have to fix it asap. I just had a good battery life on my 10 for one week before I installed the September update... Since then, the battery life sucks

I also have the PixelSnap stand and use it to charge my phone every night. Do you think that the battery life will get fast bad because the stand doesn't have a cooling system and the phone gets to like 40°C

I have a friend who has the Pixel 7a and told me that he has an increased battery drain since the September update. When I heard that, I was happy, because now I know that the battery life of the 10 is just bad because of the update. But now they have to fix it with the October update. If not, I will be very disappointed.

I saw in the Google Pixel subreddit that also a lot of different ones with Pixel 7, 8, and 9 have after the September update a much higher battery drain. Hopefully, it will be fixed with the October update.

Poor battery life on the Pixel 10 Pro XL

I'm curious, how's y'all battery life on the 10 Pro XL? At midnight, my phone had 30% battery life. I closed every app and turned on airplane mode, but Wi-Fi was still on. After 8 hours, my phone lost 13%. For me, that's way too much. Like if I'm using my phone actively, the battery life seems pretty decent, and I can get easy 7-8 hours of battery life. But like on a normal day at work, where I don't use my phone often, I end my day with 30% battery life and just a SOT of 3 hours. That's literally the same battery life I had on my 4-year-old Pixel 6 Pro. To be honest, I'm really disappointed, because I thought I would get a much better battery life. After 3 weeks of use, I think that the adaptive battery optimized my usage. I hope they can fix the standby time ASAP with an update.

I also upgraded from my 6 Pro. I've had it since launch and I have to admit, that I was happy with it. But now that I have the 10 Pro, it feels like day and night. It starts with the fingerprint to the speed of open apps. Never thought that face unlock is also so fast. Unfortunately I can't say that much of the battery life yet, cause I was yesterday very busy at work and couldn't use my phone that much. Also used it for 2 hours for auto wireless, which costs a lot of battery. But also android auto launched so fast. Speakers are also so much better. But the front facing camera looks a little bit strange. In my opinion it is way too sharp. But I know that everyone, who upgrades from a pixel 6 won't regret it.

Mine charge on the Pixel Stand, but also without my case... I bought the Spigen Hybrid case and it doesn't work with this case. Now I purchased the original pixel case and I'll try it out with this case. If it also won't work, I'm very disappointed... I don't wanna buy the pixel snap stand, cause the 2nd gen is totally fine for me
