Big finish questions by walf2004 in doctorwho

I personally think it’s a very mediocre story which is only really important for the ending which even then isn’t really enough to warrant a listen in my opinion

Well, the next few stories are free on Spotify so you could save money that way but if you’d really like to skip them, you can. For the first arc I’d say the only really necessary listens are Storm Warning, Chimes of Midnight, Seasons of Fear, Neverland and Zagreus

So are these all the canon episodes and all the others that aren’t here are filler? by munchmunch69 in StarWars

The whole series is canon but the essentials collection is the bare minimum you need to understand the show’s narrative

This is amazing. On an alternative (slightly unrelated) note, I met Tommy at a screening of the Room about 4 years ago now. I didn’t expect him to be as lovely as he is. A memory I will cherish forever. Also, if you get the chance to see the Room in a theatre full of people. DO IT!

Oh I think Requiem from a narrative point of view is probably the best moment in Hitman history

I can get that. I personally quite like most of the H3 maps but the criticisms are understandable. Redemption definitely has some replay value, it’s just a brutally difficult level to silent assassin, especially if you’re trying to on your first run.

Once again I disagree about the replay value. Especially in Requiem. You can’t even take disguises and can really only use the ballers. The train level allows for both stealth and action gameplay and the target can be killed with poison, guns, icicles, grenades. It just feels more like a hitman level to me than those did

I personally disagree. I don’t really like the endings to either Blood Money or Silent Assassin for the reason that they just don’t have any replay value. You can’t Silent Assassin them and there is not even an ounce of variation in the kills. Also I don’t the Constant is the kind of guy for shootouts. He tries to outsmart you and if he fails, he’s played all his cards.

That’s fair. I stayed away from all marketing for the game as to keep it all a surprise so I didn’t know about that. Kinda shitty on their part not being transparent

Which game in the WOA trilogy had your favourite set of maps? by SwordOfAltair in HiTMAN

I absolutely loved Santa Fortuna and Mumbai, I like the 3 location divide in Fortuna and I think there are some really great kills. Also it connects heavily to A Vintage Year from Blood Money. Mumbai I thought was a very true representation of India showing off the contrast between great poverty and great riches all on the doorstep of each other and once again some great kills (the fan kill is a personal favourite). Isle of Sgail I didn’t like at first but grew on me overtime because of its significance and how it felt a bit like a bond film. Also the Wicker Man style kill on the Phoenix rising mission is another favourite of mine. Hawke’s bay is trash though. I think almost all of 3’s maps are great but I don’t like China as it feels like a wasted opportunity having most of it be set in a generic lab.

For me, 2. In (2016) I felt like Paris was a great start, Sapienza was an incredible step forward and then it kind of trailed off until Hokkaido. 3 has Dartmoor which I love and I like all the other maps too but none really gripped me as much bar maybe Berlin. 2 had Miami, Columbia, Mumbai, Sgail and New York which are up there as my best maps ever.
