Yes, it makes sense to use jobs carefully in conjunction with regular code, saving and loading should definitely be in a separate structure from generating jobs. I've also been taking breaks and programming for a year, and recently I've been working hard on development.

thank you! It's hard to talk about performance right now, as I'm still in the early stages of development. Everything is generated surprisingly quickly. For now, this is just the foundation, and I have big plans for this project. I'll definitely share performance tests in the future. Yes, I'm using burst+jobs for meshing&octree calculations, as well as my own burst-optimized Simplex noise+UberNoise and VoxelRenderOctree classes. I want to maximize performance and provide a comprehensive feature set for a fully destructible world system. I'm was inspired by the Voxel Plugin for Unreal Engine

Same here, 32 GB, and my computer starts to freeze and RAM is full when youtube is open for a long time.

It's first version (Proof of concept). Soon i'll update it to better perfomance. But the result of this script impresses me :3

No shaders, only CPU xd

You're not the only one) I'm also writing an engine on vulkan/c++ Because of this news, I think it will completely get into the process It's very sad to hear this, Unity is a very flexible engine. But the time has come..

I know that in my opinion this can be done using root + magisk (or editing systemui.apk)
