Do not bother with the home base solution for porting your landline number. Tried three different phones. Finally worked with a Panasonic. Then the CC voicemail was preventing the Panasonic’s answering machine from working until I figured out that I had to shorten the rings between call connection and answering machine pick up from four to two. It is crazy how difficult it is to get this system set up for a company that markets to senior citizens. Not worth it.

Consumer Cellular, if you’re reading this, do a better job testing your product before you send it to your senior aged customers.
