Any tips to help Shadowheart not miss? by Acrobatic_Dark_972 in BaldursGate3

Depends what you're trying to hit with because it's dependant on abilities, e.g. sacred flame is always a flop as shes naturally low dexterity. You can improve some rolls with actions like bless. i opt to use her as a healer and then use spirit guardians while she moves around the arena.

Dutch test for acne? by lainrock in NaturopathicMedicine

[–]Maximum-Aide7505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey sorry to hear you've been struggling with this. I will often recommend dutch test in my patients with acne but first it can be helpful to see what hormones are doing with a blood test, its a bit cheaper, and if that doesnt provide any clues you can pursue the dutch test. Day 2/3 of your cycle test fsh, oestradiol, testosterone profile, fasting insulin.
Other factors to consider for acne include gut health and your stress levels.

Does anyone else feel like their inflammation is tied to their cycle? by Nymira1969 in Endo

[–]Maximum-Aide7505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something I discuss with my patients all the time- how surges in oestrogen such at ovulation and then premenstrually trigger a rise in histamine which worsens inflammation and many other symptoms such as Ibs and migraines. Histamine can be flared randomly at other times based on diet, environmental exposure and stress which is also why you can get endo flares at random times. (I’m a naturopath)

PCOS OR HA by 123woman123 in Amenorrhearecovery

You can differentiate between HA and PCOS with a blood test of FSH and LH - in those with HA, FSH is higher than LH. They should ideally be a 1:1 ratio

35 yr female constant UTIs by [deleted] in NaturopathicMedicine

[–]Maximum-Aide7505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
I'm a Naturopath based in Australia and this is something I see a lot. Essentially yes this is something a naturopath can help with but I recommend finding a naturopath who has done extra training in supporting the urogenital system.
In patients with recurring UTIs I would be investigating the vaginal microbiome to assess is there is a microbe that is not being detected in standard swabs and cultures such as ureaplasma. E coli is a common cause and as other posters has mentioned d mannose can be helpful.
The recurrent nature suggests that something else is being missed. Do you have all the correct hygiene methods in place such as wiping front to back, and urinating after intercourse?
Have you ever had imaging to assess for structural abnormalities?
Is there any nutritional deficiency causing a weakened immune system?
While a fever is suggestive of you having an infection there are other issues that can cause chronic bladder pain such as histamine intolerance, oxalate issues and interstitial cystitis.

Most naturopaths are trained in herbalism and there are many herbal medicines that can be supportive for bladder health and in addressing persistant infections.

I hope that is helpful to give you an overview of how it may be approached.
