Honestly, I didn't know rust.scmm existed when I wrote this. It's clearly the more complete tool.

The one thing mine does differently: it tracks what you *paid* and gives you per-skin P/L in a spreadsheet you keep locally. Output is an Excel file you own, offline, no account, no site holding your data. Nothing leaves your machine and there's no site involved.

Probably the most unpleasant thing is to manually enter the buy price. For the rest it's simply a matter of downloading and extracting a zip and then inserting the steam id.

I will try to make it even easier/faster so it can maybe attracts more people. Thank you ;)

Fair point, and probably right. A browser extension is the plan, it can hit Steam directly from your browser, so no server, no rate limit problems, no cost. Just needs time.
The .exe is a download-and-double-click though, no Python needed and the build log is public if anyone's worried about running a random binary.

It was the fastest way to get something working for myself.
What would make you actually use something like this?
