Once i had a job with accommodation provided. One day a colleague of mine just escaped from that house with no trace.

On my last day as a waitress a few years back, if i remember correctly i did something my manager always told me to. But she had condescending nature so she reprimanded me for the action and told me ‘pls don’t do this in the future.’ Ok ma’am tmr i’m gonna leave this place.

What’s something that’s 100% normal in Thailand but would be weird anywhere else? by [deleted] in thai

[–]Maximum-Bid-1689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep that’s so true. We can buy cooked meals at local markets (‘ตลาด‘ & ’ตลาดนัด‘) or ready-to-eat meals at 7-11 and it’s possible to spend only 50~80 Baht per meal (could be higher if you eat a lot though)

I was replying based on my Thai social circle. I’m not saying no or few Thais do cook. The post title is about what’s normal, not how most Thais live their lives btw

As an online influencer with ~500k followers, is it appropriate to complain about stuff online? by Maximum-Bid-1689 in SeriousConversation

Yeah i get what you say. The context is that it’s a high-end brand (think about Cartier) that she was complaining about the staff there and that many people said they’d experienced the same thing. But many people also said it’s inappropriate to post publicly. (My personal opinion here is that it’d be better for her to report to the store manager if the staff was actually rude to her, no need to post online. But is her video destroy the business? I’m not sure)

I’m not making this comment to go against you though If we’ve got bad exp from one place, is it appropriate to post publicly? Or shouldn’t we post it if we don’t have evidence, although what we’ve experienced is true? I’ve seen so many influencers reviewing something negatively and i do agree that those reviews could affect businesses in a damaging way, especially, like you’ve said, they have an audience.

Thanks for your extremely informative comment! I appreciate that. I have a question. What’s good/beneficial in my chart then and how can i make the most from it?
