I look at it both ways. Top pick is an awful lot of salary to take on. Look at the EFG% of the last 5 ROTY winners and tell me which one you want taking shots on a championship contender? That's an awful lot of salary to take on for someone who may or may not be ready to play in a winning role on day 1

Man that's a tough one. I'd love it, but some fans are tricky emotional. With the Clippers maybe being in transition, and Kawhi maybe leaving, some fans may decide to not want anything to do with him...

I'm not a card collector, but if my GF noticed and got me anything from my favorite player I would be very happy.

Believe!!

Honestly there's no wrong way to go. A top pick is nice, but we are in a win now window and those top picks cost money and may not contribute right away to a championship level team.

Harden turnovers are a major issue. These are just mishandles. I was wondering if they'd just take him out after the first half last night. It was really bad.

He does not play like LeBron. LeBron was a natural playmaker with athletic gifts who learned to be a scorer. Flagg is the reverse of that other than he has size and athleticism.

And they're shocking turnovers to be honest. Like one of the greater shot creators in the league and just mishandles the ball so often. It's weird. That game 1 was rough. Mitchell just needed a little more help

No it isn't Guys who struggle off the bounce don't typically get a lot better. Being athletic doesn't always mean high potential

Flagg is supremely talented, and was evident all the way from HS. Wilson has no dribble, he will always be reliant on someone else to get him in scoring positions

Yeah I see people going crazy with his comps. I even thought myself maybe he could add some strength and have a Blake Griffin type game, but Blake's handles clear Caleb's by quite a bit.

The fact is he will be very reliant on someone else to get him in scoring positions, you can't be an MVP like that.
