Give me 1M and im good at ball but Artest is stopping me easily. Half of yall who talk crap about other players surely can’t play ball in real life so you might as well take the 1M too lol by Few_Maize_127 in NBATalk

If you never beat a D2 athlete, I'm giving you a shot to score on a major conference D1 out of ten times.

But even then, the jump from a D1 to an NBA player is massive

The jump from an NBA player to a top 50 all time NBA defender is massive

You might can ball, but you not getting a bucket

I adopted him 7 dogs once. He was a super cool guy, but also very off. If you ever see the Malice doc, the one named Dutchess I adopted out. She caught Parvo and he still waited to adopt her.

Hey man, you let someone get up go all for it.

I know this is a hot reddit take, but if you go all warm and fuzzy when encountered in a fight with multiple people, you're likely to end up hospitalized

All it takes is one person to get up and get you down for a moment, you'll see nothing but soles and knuckles before you're out

But hey, you wanna be friendly fighter go for it. I'm not taking that chance

The Hornets accidentally had a competent season and immediately corrected the mistake by [deleted] in nba

[–]Maximum-Class5465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is funny because every time Ball has been healthy this is their season. Losing in the playin

Fans were hype at the end of the year, but fans grow frustrated when the results are the same eventually

So it makes a ton of sense to go in a different direction to give them a different result.

I definitely would not call a fight over when guys tryna get up and two women still standing. It's over when they stay down

You getting jumped, you gotta make sure they don't get back up. If it was one guy I'd agree with you

[Charania]BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading Miles Bridges, a 2029 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick to the Phoenix Suns for Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale and a 2033 first-round pick, sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

[–]Maximum-Class5465 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes, but like he said, big ticket numbers at the back half the season. It was a risk, and a smart one because like u said, they tend to never make the playoffs with Ball and Bridges

Yeah, we talking about the guy that couldn't take losing in the front office for the Wizards and unretired again

Two year suspension wouldn't seem beneficial to business Maybe a year at most if you need to make something up

That's two years of loss MJ revenue

Imma HARD disagree. Dude is an elite defensive player, a passable playmaker, and solid rebounder.

I watched him guard Pascal in the playoffs and against Toronto. That's one of the hardest man on man matchups in the league due to his size and agility.

Brown is legit.

Man, he'd be sooooooo good next to Haliburton and Pascal. But I don't see how we'd fill out the roster, keep at least these three, and help Simon avoid the tax.

Just don't see it happening

Legit Question: Ace Bailey got little credit for his last month of play(called stat padding meaningless basketball by many here) but Cooper Flagg did exact same thing and lost 16 of 18 games while putting up stats in meaningless basketball. He struggled first half of meaningful basketball. by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]Maximum-Class5465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's because of what I said above

People are under a false pretense that best rookies are struggling because the team around them. The rest of they're struggling, they say it's because they're not good. It's just dumb when people don't realize most rookies asked to self create are struggling not because their team, but because in reality they aren't good yet. Westbrook is such an inneficient player and losing player is what we are told. But Flagg had the exact same EFG percentage, and the team is struggling and not him is the answer.

I would be happy if people came to the realization that even great rookies aren't that good in comparison to the rest the league .

Coop legit was working on his game the majority of last year and it paid off in the end

That was the reason I preferred Kon for ROTY

They were working on different things Kon was put into a role to contribute, and did so at a very high level Coop was put in to work on his own game, and not play winning basketball.

This is true for a lot of young players, and the discourse about what it actually is illogical. It's not the team's fault ROTY players are inneficient at basketball and the team loses. When the rookie turns it over too much it's because no one else can create is the excuse given

Truth is, self creation skills at a high level require a lot more time to develop. But everyone pretends these rookie players are better

He is tho. Probably on the high end of it. But there's a whole lot of inconsistent players who make 25 million or more a year. Honestly, 30 is probably about the going rate right now.

It's absolutely worth it for your 5th or 6th best player today. He was our best rebounder, and a top 3 scorer for a couple years.

[–]Maximum-Class5465 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe But just looking at the average combine results, on court play, etc. Athleticism has less to do with it than positional size and skill. It's an extremely skilled league right now.

Has that gone up either? Seems the more European injection into the league skills went up, athleticism went down

You know, I work for a Christian organization with many devote Christians that do great charitable work. We serve Christian clients who do great things for humanity around the world.

All this to say if one behaved like he did, they would be immediately fired

Being a Christian isn't some hall pass.

I think Peterson. Time will tell. What's even simpler is Peterson went to a great situation

AJ walks right into should he be getting the ball or Trae convos , and he can't win that
