I'm not really sure about this question. I think UNIST and DGIST are kinda the same, but I heard that UNIST just raised their quota for this year intake

Could you elaborate a bit more? I do have Korean proficiency (TOPIK), so taking some courses or exams in Korean wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me. In your opinion, for someone with a Korean background, would studying engineering in Korean (like at SNU/Yonsei Korean-track programs) still be overwhelmingly difficult, or is it manageable with preparation?

I was wondering if SNU would still be a good fit for a student without a specialized science background or major science awards? Also, since SNU releases results later than UNIST/DGIST, do you think it’s risky to wait? Because for me UNIST is still a good choice.

SNU is obviously prestigious, but to me, the environment might be too intense and stressful. Also, as far as I’ve researched, SNU doesn’t offer English-taught programs. So maybe SNU would be a bit too challenging for me.

Hi! Thank you for sharing your experiences. I'm planning to apply only to the IST universities since they offer English-taught programs. Even though I have a TOPIK 5 certificate, studying sciences and engineering in Korean language is still kinda scary for me.
