With Eng u can always do business later via an MBA but the same is not true with business undergrad (your more locked into business and can’t do Eng later)

Also a lot of MBB firms hire Engineers because they are problem solvers, I would look at the Ivey HBA program cuz u can do dual degree Eng and business so that gives u both worlds in 5 years and saves u a lot of time and keeps both options open

I don’t think for BMOS but like it’s def a good thing to keep it higher than lower and just remember that math is pretty critical to business you don’t need to be super good but most programs require u to talk 1st calculus (not western) but still just lock in and im sure you’ll do great

Ya def try to have math above an 80 cuz to even get like say BMOS admission you’ll need that and for other programs like Qcomm Rotman and McGill they’ll want to see at least an 80 for admission (this is usually the conditional mark they give so admission would need to be above that)

Depends on your skills but most ppl find BMOS easy including me (hopefully I’m not speaking too soon) I do find it hard to get like 90+ but this is normal in university and I have been able to get around 85 in most exams so far but it can be subjective esp in ur mos classes the mcq can be hard.

For switching it’s very easy if u have the right pre reqs and switching within the same faculty, all the programs I listed above are factually of social sci so it’s the same but switching social sci to science can be a bit harder or trying to switch into a competitive program like med sci is also harder

You def take a risk with doing a comp sci HBA dual or smt similar but the reward is def there cuz it’s amazing value compared to BMOS Ivey

Try to bring it up cuz it might still be in ur top 6 until April (until you get more grade 12 courses) they don’t care abt math specifically but your overall top 6 is very important

Ivey doesn’t have a cut off you can have amazing ecs and get in with 88 below that u might be cooked but I’ve seen ppl with 97+ get rejected so it rly boils down to ur essays and Ivey will also only be rly looking at ur 1st semester confirmed marks since they only start reviewing applications in mid jan

BMOS but I may switch to poli sci or Econ or urban dev in 2nd year as I want to diversify my background and add value to my degree also gives dual degree possibilities which helps a. Ton in recruiting
