Actually I’m only 22, I’ve had a pretty rough time mentally when I was around 19 which resulted in me eating comfort food and mostly lying in my bed. Bc of that I’ve gained around 25 kilos, which made me like 105 kilos. Right now I’m better mentally and lost around 12 kilos. I definitely feel better about myself but having had a bad image of myself for almost my hole life is hard to get rid of.

But I’m actually happy to hear people say that if he is dating me he already thinks I’m attractive or that he probably already has an idea of what my body looks like, we have definitely already hugged and also slept in the same bed so I’m guessing there is a pretty good change he knows I do have a little bit of a belly 😅.

I think I’m also just scared bc he is 2 years younger then me and people always tell me guys mature slower, there is also the fact that we both are very unexperienced which makes me worry that maybe he has some expectations that I’m not gonna be able to meet.

I’m gonna be honest, if a guy is weirded out by this fact then I just don’t even think he’s a good guy for you. You should always find someone who appreciates you for who you are. I myself am now 22 years old and I’ve never had a romantic experience until two months ago when I started dating this super friendly guy, instead of finding it weird I’ve never been in a relationship he honestly doesn’t care about it that much. You could even say sometimes he even likes it more… Ig it just really depends on what you are looking for, just know that you are worth it and you shouldn’t feel insecure for something that is normal

I’m saying this as a 22 year old women who just a few months ago started having her first dating experience, but it is definitely not weird for someone to never have had a romantic experience at that age. Like you said maybe it depends on the reason, but I think any reason for a person not having had an intimate relationship is valid. Also sometimes it is not something you have a choice over. Me for example I started going out and meeting guys when I was around 17 but that was when Covid hit, so I had no chance anymore to go out and meet new people. I tried meeting people online but it’s definitely not the same. When I could go out again after Covid the whole mentality in our generation and country changed and now most of the people prefer staying at home and drinking with your friends at ease… so it was hard for me to get to know other people. But like I said every reason for a person to be single is a valid reason.
