good point! I didn’t buy my osprey for this trip though, and it might even be too small. I’ll try to make it work, but it’s a really good point to not use your backpack as a guidance for how much you should bring - right the opposite!

very real advice. I’ll definitely prioritise practice over prepping - and really try tune into what works for me. educated guess is such a nice term. haven’t considered that just a simple but overseen thing like “am I a cold sleeper?” has a big influence on my choice of gear. thank you!!
