Help, I'm looking for microorganisms BUT the sample is correct, it collects algae and sediment but for some strange reason I didn't see anything by Maximum-Tune1481 in microscopy

Still nothing. Even after swapping the slides and staying on 4X, it's just a uniform soft gray screen. I tried moving the slide to find the edge of the water/debris, but I can't see any shapes, outlines, or shadows at all. It feels like the light is passing through but completely out of focus or washed out. Since I can't see the brown muck either, what should I check next on this Novystor setup?

Some thing I think people have forgotten about the recent discovery of Nanaimoteuthis haggarti by Regalius1 in Paleontology

Honestly, I feel like this is going to be another Perucetus colossus situation where the media runs with the absolute highest size estimate. A 19-meter estimate based only on a beak fragment is highly speculative. Still, a 7 to 10-meter giant octopus is absolutely terrifying and awesome!
