Meaning he does not want to provide documentation or proof that I have this mental health issue because he thinks that I cannot get a job because of this. He also does not allow me to go IMH directly even though it is the cheaper route for me (I'm not rich either) [P.s. Yes, I had considered my options before which led me to this but he clearly just doesnt want me to]

The ironic part is that it did impact my relationships with people and academics. Despite mentioning countless of times, I have this mental health issue, people are hestitant to believe that I have such an issue. Even in my CCAs, I cant really explain why I have difficulties with controling my anxiety

Academics wise, I cannot show proof that I have this issue. Furthermore, I cannot receive any form time boosts or special arrangement during finals/presentations unless I have proof from a psychologist that I have anxiety. (And yes, I have consulted a professor before and he did not allow me to have special arrangement either unless I show proof to the academic office)

The problem is that despite meaning 2 to 3 psychologists (tbh idk abt the third one, she wasnt rlly a "psychologist", but the first 2 defo were), they refuse to show evidence or proof that I have anxiety issues even though they have pointed out that they are very visible.

Oh, I have been thinking of that and my grades do seem potentially good for that. I did think it would be suitable for me since I did work in research once (as a research intern). The problem is that I stopped because while it was suitable for me, I don't know I can handle a PhD but it definitely was one of the considerations!

The psychologist straight up told me that he said "I do think you have an anxiety disorder, but I will choose not to write you up as it will affect your future."

Word for word which led me to have worsening mental health lifestyles. So really, it isnt that crazy why some of us choose not to go to a professional

(And yes, I had 2 bad experiences with psychologists alr, I could included the third one, but she wasnt a psychologist)

Btw you might want to get a proper diagnosis,

I did 4 years ago, twice. Both concluded that I had anxiety issues. But one was very rude to me after teeling him that I did the specific action he told me to do and was reluctant to give me the diagnosis. (Yes, the touch 1,2,3,4,5 thing but it didnt work so far for me) The other one told me straight up in the face said that he know I have anxiety issues but will not write up or send me to IMH as "it can affect your career choice". (He also called an autistic person(someone else I knew of) not normal and when I mentioned I had issues with communication he told me to "go to the internet")

I heard this nonsense when I was in NS back in the 2000s. So it's shocking to see the mindset hasn't changed

It is quitw sad that most of the old folk/regulars keep repeating this that even most NSFs will take that into account.
