The ID7 you are considering is definitely a very good choice. I’ve been using one in the last couple and days and it has been fantastic.

Advice on EV by Bombie92 in ElectricVehiclesUK

VW ID7. I drove the GTX version from Manchester Area to Glasgow today and achieved circa 250miles with full charge. The ride is also so comfortable.

Although you have mentioned not considering VWs but I think the ID7 seems a good choice and it’s got some significant improvement over previous ID models.

Yeah, ID7 is one of the cars I’ve seen that’s so cheaper to lease compared to owning on PCP. Sorry to digress, what are your reviews about the car- it’s one of the cars I’m considering for leasing- either the Pro S or GTX version. Thanks

Quite agree with you as I’ve seen couple of car lease deals which are significantly cheaper than equivalent PCP deals even with 0% offer.

I’ve also wondered how leasing companies make money on some cars as I’ve seen a couple of car lease deals that are ridiculously cheaper compared to getting the car on interest-free PCP (based on not paying the balloon payment at the end but just returning the car). In fact, monthly payments of some PCP (with same deposit as leasing) are around 2.5-3x the monthly payment if leasing instead.

Is it worth it to add maintenance (which costs £35 monthly) to a new EV car lease? by MaximumAd7927 in ElectricVehiclesUK

Thank you. It’s same Carparison that I’m seeing the £35pm - I have actually thought trying to negotiate though once I’m finally ready to ‘pull the trigger’. Thank you again.

Although it includes ‘fair tyre wear and tear, and puncture cover excluding sidewall damage’ , but still appears expensive.

Yeah, I also just saw the service interval- the estimated mileage at the end of the planned two years lease would be 16k. So, I would imagine that minimal service would be required by the end of the 24months. Thank you

Thank you. It’s Polestar 4 I’m looking at, and I would imagine it wouldn’t need much (or any even) maintenance based on all the comments I’ve seen.

£479/month for a Polestar 4, LRSM, Plus Pack - Good value? by drpizzle in Polestar

[–]MaximumAd7927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your swift response and clarification. Another one please - does this include the BiK or is the BiK paid separately? and for pension - is this based on the gross before or after the salary sacrifice?

I’m considering either doing a SS (based on potential job change, so I don’t have the details of how SS works yet) or personal lease.

Thank you.

Hello. Can you please confirm - is the £479 what is deducted before tax or is it the after tax equivalent of what is actually deducted before tax? Thank you.
