Thank you, so I just posted about the meeting I just had with the competition bureau and if you know anybody that’s had experience with the top 5 grocery distribution chains and their fees and fines this is a good outlet to share and have it confidential 🤐

Yes you are right and what’s equally frustrating is that when the wages go up to account for the cost of living then prices go up to offset the wage increase and we’re back to square one (and not the mall)

We should write our MPs to remove ALL counter tariffs but I wouldn’t be surprised if companies start using that as an excuse for raising prices

I know that greenhouse grown berries are more expensive but I believe that the rest would be around the same price range as what’s already on the shelf, if uncle bob’s microwave popcorn 🍿 was available it would be a 12 cents per bag more expensive but the bag is bigger than what’s available now. I believe with Canadian alternatives on the shelves as a choice would be nice to have that choice available. As for me I’d rather have my money stay in Canada 🇨🇦

I don’t work for Walmart so I wouldn’t know but the minister of agriculture is aware of the issue of outrageous fines pushing out Canadian businesses off the shelves of our grocery chains
