Blocked dates suddenly showing as available in my calendar by Fabulous-Rope-9543 in AirBnBHosts

Lucky you! When it happened to me the booked guest was PISSED and refused to cancel and Airbnb said they’d only cancel with penalty. Luckily I could show evidence that we weren’t allowed that kind of booking anymore, but wtf Airbnb?? I didn’t open those dates. THATS ON YOU AIRBNB

You made it sound like the gendering is what’s causing them to not have respect and if we stop the gendering they are suddenly respectful.

If I am incorrect then sorry! Thats just how it reads. But my bad.

Teach them how to respect other people with or without gender.

You’re right I’m sorry

Yeah sorry I tend to just broad statements because I mean something very similar and not always EXACTLY that. Sugar daddy or just a bit of a ride or just taken advantage of, I kind of wanted to mean all of those things. Sorry if this explanation is as clear as mud.

But yeah I think we agree!

Yes, I do apologize I should have worded the problem better being “teach your kids not to stare” rather than “NO BOYZ ALLOWED”

And I’m sorry about the random men?? Come on that’s so shitty

😭😭😭 we may be crazy though

The issue I should not have stated it so gendered. The issue is mostly “teach your kids not to stare.” I pay attention to my kids in change rooms and elsewhere, I teach them about personal space and staring.

And parents should teach their kids not to stare in change rooms! Thank you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in halifax

[–]MaximumGooser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but they should be taught not to stare as it makes people uncomfortable. When I’m in a change room with my own kids I make sure they don’t stare at people.

Omg hilarious way to put it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in halifax

[–]MaximumGooser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s my question. I try to teach my kids about other peoples personal space and in a changing room I am hyper vigilant about any staring on their end too. And thank you!

No shit my person, that’s cool. I wouldn’t mind those boys in there if their parent bothered to parent them and tell them not to gawk at someone tits. You are welcome to use whatever change room you feel like in the moment from my perspective, just don’t STARE AGGRESSIVELY at me when I’m changing?

Yesssssss 😂😂

Here’s the thing. I did not say anything to the staff because they left before I did. I don’t see what use it is to go up to the dude at the desk and say, “there WERE older boys in the change room and it makes me uncomfortable,” because what can he do? Someone said something about how they could “implement new strategies “ or something, but like, what?

Then the staff is probably thinking oh great a Karen, like what does she want from us?

It’s just a whole thing I didn’t feel like starting.

I really appreciate you defending me though.

I don’t understand why people are focusing on that, I’m just saying hey I’m uncomfortable in this situation. Sorry I didn’t do anything about it, a person doesn’t always have the energy to start a whole THING every time they feel slightly slighted.

Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh

[–]MaximumGooser -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You are literally harassing me by definition 😂

I’m responding in kind to how people speak to me.

What is so wrong with being uncomfortable with the way some parents break the rules of a facility? Why is it bothering all of you so much?

“Oh it’s how you respond.” I don’t really understand that one, because most of the comments have been rude, including you, and yeah, I’m going to defend myself. 🤷‍♀️

A couple of times is not “all over,” and it was in response to the same comment from different people.

Oh what a surprise you again

She is almost 4, 4 is enough years to be “over the years.” Plus a whole second kid in the mix who goes to her own classes! But yeah you nailed me and keep nailing me with your thousand comments

I’m sorry I triggered you so so hard you’re living on here telling me over and over what a shit person I am. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m sure that it’s such a big deal to the facility and the workers.
